Tips for a Fun Snow Day

    on Feb.08, 2010, under Life

    Hey Everyone,

Some of the cats who write for Digital Feline live in the mid-Atlantic and we are seeing a lot of snow here. We got about 25 inches in our area, and are expecting 10-20 more inches tomorrow. This is insanity. I am a kitten, only 4 months old now, and if I’m not careful I tend to get some serious cabin fever if I don’t entertain myself. To do this I follow these tips:

    1) Play! Find a friend or family member (Ziva) and have fun!

    2) Imitate household objects. I’m trying to impersonate this snowman.

    3) Make a new friend.

    4) Push your owner in the snow.

Just kidding. I didn’t push him off a ladder. He is absolutely FINE, but he did take a spill into a few feet of white stuff trying to remove snow off of our house.

This is Zimmerman Cinnamon saying, BE CAREFUL IN THE SNOW and try to have some fun!

Are you ready for the Super Bowl? I know I am. I’ve got my kitty treats, a couple friends over and my big screen TV, and I am ready for the game. I am rooting for the Colts. Who do you want to see win? Click the link below and take my poll!

Q1 — Let’s see, looking good for the Colts. 3 points so far. Seeing a lot of good plays out there, though there have been some fumbles. Pretty exciting so far IMHO. Especially the commercials. Wonder if we’ll see any kitties.

    Oh, yes! Touchdown COLTS! BOO-YAH!

Ohhh, Saints are up 3 now! hmmm … this might be close.

Check out who these kitties think will win:

If you are planning a trip to Vancouver for the Olympics next month or just sitting in your favorite chair to watch, don’t miss the Ladies Figure Skating! Yesterday I watched both the short and long programs and was spellbound by the glitz and glitter of the finals. The U.S. sends only two ladies to the competition. Rachel Flatt, a high school senior taking four AP classes as she trained, had terrific scores in both categories. The second slot was a different story. Trying to make a comeback was 25 year old Sasha Cohen who had won a silver in 2006. Sorry Sasha. No repeats in 2010. The spot was taken by California native, Mirai Nagasu who wowed the judges with her talent, though she is only fifteen. Don’t forget to watch. If you’re not a skating fan, tune in for the sparkle!!
