    Dolce Gusto Skinny Cappuccino

    on Feb.19, 2010, under Food

There’s nothing I love more in the world than a good cup of coffee. Luckily, I have a Dolce Gusto machine and can indulge in some magnificent flavors and delight in the sweet warmth of this beverage every day.

The other morning I received a package in the mail. It was a free sample of the Dolce Gusto Skinny Cappuccino! I believe I was one of the first to DM @DolceGustoUS using Twitter and this was my reward. I have to say that I love the regular cappuccino Dolce Gusto offers. Only 80 calories, and a wonderful with a spoonful of sugar.  The skinny cappuccino is JUST as enjoyable and is only 50 calories. (A kitty has got to watch her figure. I don’t think you understand. I sleep A LOT!) The taste of the skinny cappuccino is very similar to the other version, just with less calories. It was slightly less milky and offered the same jolt of caffeine! I might just have another cup!

    Windows Phone 7

    on Feb.15, 2010, under Tech

Image from PCworld.comFirst of all, I’m happy to see that this phone is being marketed as Windows Phone. They dropped the “mobile” — isn’t this implied? People won’t be walking around with a land line! This fact in and of  itself will set the brand up for success. I’m kind of a tech branding nerd, so this stuff excites me.

A few features I’m excited about include the cooler than cool interface, the People Hub feature that aggregates status updates into a single feed and Bing maps, which will dynamically update with street-view pictures and 3D graphics and directions. I like that!

This is a hot tech topic right now, so I HAD to chime in. Been in a bit of a snow coma the last few weeks. I’m ready to save up and buy this lovely phone in about 6 months. How about you? Are you as impressed by the promise of this phone as I am?

    High Speed Laser Triggered Camera

    on Feb.07, 2010, under Tech

As a cat, I wouldn’t say bugs are my favorite thing in the world, but I do like to chase them around.  This shutter bug designed a camera that can track bugs and other things with a laser, and then takes pictures as fast as 1/100th of a second, producing breathtaking images like the one on the left.  Check out the photographer’s albums here and here.

    Neko Habitat

It’s snowing like crazy here in the mid-atlantic. Not looking forward to shoveling. In fact, I probably won’t even get around to it. Reason being, I just came across this site, Neko Habitat, an online haven for beyond stylish pet furniture and accessories. I’m planning on surprising Cosmo and Orion for Valentine’s Day and buying a few Beds like this one. Shhh! Don’t tell them.

    iSad

    on Jan.28, 2010, under Tech

Well the day came and went and apple announced the iPad and I couldn’t be more disappointed. Basically the iPad it s a giant iTouch with 3G for data. It features no camera, no voice calling, no full OS, no multi-tasking. It runs on the iPhone OS so it acts more like a PDA than a fully functionally computer. Forget what I said on my previous post, I can wait to get my paws on this. Head to Engadget to Find out more here:

    Apple Tablet

    on Jan.26, 2010, under Tech

The apple tablet is supposedly being announced tomorrow at 1pm ET. Its rumored to be a giant iPhone, either 7 or 10 inches in size. According to Engadget Apple tablet rumors have been around since at least 2002. I hope the screen is as easy to read text as the Kindle. I can’t wait to get my paws on this, hopefully it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.

    Lock Watch

    on Jan.21, 2010, under Tech

If I could tell time and they actually came out it, this would be the watch I would buy. I wonder if you can use an actual key to open it up, that’d be cool.

    Dell Froot

    on Jan.18, 2010, under Tech

Pauline Carlos came up with this design for a computer that does away with the monitor, mouse and keyboard. The keyboard and mouse are replaced with one projected image, possibly using an infrared grid like we saw at CES with Light Touch. The other editors and myself believe this could be the greatest tech ever to be brought to the cat community. Finally we’ll be able to type an e-mail to grand mama with one paw while chasing a light with the other. Dell please hear our cries and come out with this marvelous piece of technology.
