Orion Goes Barefoot
by Orion on Feb.28, 2010, under Food
Last night I had some friends over and I had to decide which wine to serve to the guests. It was a toss up between Barefoot Pinot Grigio or Barefoot Pinot Noir. I think you can see which bottle I was leaning towards.
Which Barefoot wine is your favorite? When do you plan on having a glass or two next?
Dolce Gusto Skinny Cappuccino
by Pepper on Feb.19, 2010, under Food
There’s nothing I love more in the world than a good cup of coffee. Luckily, I have a Dolce Gusto machine and can indulge in some magnificent flavors and delight in the sweet warmth of this beverage every day.
The other morning I received a package in the mail. It was a free sample of the Dolce Gusto Skinny Cappuccino! I believe I was one of the first to DM @DolceGustoUS using Twitter and this was my reward. I have to say that I love the regular cappuccino Dolce Gusto offers. Only 80 calories, and a wonderful with a spoonful of sugar. The skinny cappuccino is JUST as enjoyable and is only 50 calories. (A kitty has got to watch her figure. I don’t think you understand. I sleep A LOT!) The taste of the skinny cappuccino is very similar to the other version, just with less calories. It was slightly less milky and offered the same jolt of caffeine! I might just have another cup!
Windows Phone 7
by Pepper on Feb.15, 2010, under Tech
First of all, I’m happy to see that this phone is being marketed as Windows Phone. They dropped the “mobile” — isn’t this implied? People won’t be walking around with a land line! This fact in and of itself will set the brand up for success. I’m kind of a tech branding nerd, so this stuff excites me.
A few features I’m excited about include the cooler than cool interface, the People Hub feature that aggregates status updates into a single feed and Bing maps, which will dynamically update with street-view pictures and 3D graphics and directions. I like that!
This is a hot tech topic right now, so I HAD to chime in. Been in a bit of a snow coma the last few weeks. I’m ready to save up and buy this lovely phone in about 6 months. How about you? Are you as impressed by the promise of this phone as I am?
My iPod Touch
by Cosmo on Feb.15, 2010, under Tech
I know that the iPod Touch is really nothing new, but I recently lost my BlackBerry and needed something that I could carry around with me. I’ve fit almost 2,000 songs on there! I enjoy going online when I can connect to wifi someplace, and being able to check my mail on the go, is a dream.
The iPod Touch was a birthday gift, I am 3 years old now. Above is a picture of me chillin’ with my iPod Touch. To be blunt, I’m feel lucky that I got anything this year. I was kinda mean to my sister, Orion, and I really let myself go. This year I’m going to sleep less, cuddle more and try to be more positive.
Can any of you readers out there sing the praises of the iPod Touch? IMHO it’s way better than the iPad because of it’s size.

Tips for a Fun Snow Day
by Zimmerman on Feb.08, 2010, under Life
Hey Everyone,
Some of the cats who write for Digital Feline live in the mid-Atlantic and we are seeing a lot of snow here. We got about 25 inches in our area, and are expecting 10-20 more inches tomorrow. This is insanity. I am a kitten, only 4 months old now, and if I’m not careful I tend to get some serious cabin fever if I don’t entertain myself. To do this I follow these tips:
![]() | 1) Play! Find a friend or family member (Ziva) and have fun! |
![]() | 2) Imitate household objects. I’m trying to impersonate this snowman. |
![]() | 3) Make a new friend. |
![]() | 4) Push your owner in the snow. Just kidding. I didn’t push him off a ladder. He is absolutely FINE, but he did take a spill into a few feet of white stuff trying to remove snow off of our house. |
This is Zimmerman Cinnamon saying, BE CAREFUL IN THE SNOW and try to have some fun!
Super Bowl XLIV – Commercials
by Ash on Feb.07, 2010, under TV
Its that time of year again, Super Bowl… Commercials.
Meow, Avatar The Last Air Bender looks really cool! I hope its as good as the TV show. I’m not a fan of most of M. Night Shyamalan’s movies but I’m willing to make an exception for this one. P.S. Shyamaln no “twist” please.
Woah! The house made of empty bud light cans is crazy, but I like it.
Man, Betty White sure has some good football moves, love me some snickers.
I haven’t seen Survivor since the first season but Heroes vs. Villains does look interesting. Though It might be because Heroes is one of my favorite shows.
Dika’s Boost mobile commercial is scary.
Doritos with the electric dog collar yikes, I hope no mean dog tries that on this feline.

Super Bowl 2010
by Zimmerman on Feb.07, 2010, under Sports
Are you ready for the Super Bowl? I know I am. I’ve got my kitty treats, a couple friends over and my big screen TV, and I am ready for the game. I am rooting for the Colts. Who do you want to see win? Click the link below and take my poll!
Q1 — Let’s see, looking good for the Colts. 3 points so far. Seeing a lot of good plays out there, though there have been some fumbles. Pretty exciting so far IMHO. Especially the commercials. Wonder if we’ll see any kitties.
Oh, yes! Touchdown COLTS! BOO-YAH!
Ohhh, Saints are up 3 now! hmmm … this might be close.
Check out who these kitties think will win:

High Speed Laser Triggered Camera
by Pepper on Feb.07, 2010, under Tech
As a cat, I wouldn’t say bugs are my favorite thing in the world, but I do like to chase them around. This shutter bug designed a camera that can track bugs and other things with a laser, and then takes pictures as fast as 1/100th of a second, producing breathtaking images like the one on the left. Check out the photographer’s albums here and here.
