2010 Grammy Predictions
by Cosmo on Jan.31, 2010, under Music
I like to think that I know a little bit about everything. One of those things is music. Some cats may think that I am a bit of a music snob, and they would be correct. (I think Lady Gaga is going to win just about everything, btw. She’s fierce and can actually sing!) Below (in bold + italics) are my picks for who will win each category at the Grammys. Here is a really awesome online Grammy Award package you might want to check out, too.
Please feel free to leave a comment if you disagree with me about my picks.

iSad
by Pepper on Jan.28, 2010, under Tech
Well the day came and went and apple announced the iPad and I couldn’t be more disappointed. Basically the iPad it s a giant iTouch with 3G for data. It features no camera, no voice calling, no full OS, no multi-tasking. It runs on the iPhone OS so it acts more like a PDA than a fully functionally computer. Forget what I said on my previous post, I can wait to get my paws on this. Head to Engadget to Find out more here:
Apple Tablet
by Pepper on Jan.26, 2010, under Tech

The apple tablet is supposedly being announced tomorrow at 1pm ET. Its rumored to be a giant iPhone, either 7 or 10 inches in size. According to Engadget Apple tablet rumors have been around since at least 2002. I hope the screen is as easy to read text as the Kindle. I can’t wait to get my paws on this, hopefully it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.

More Thoughts On Tiger
by Belle on Jan.25, 2010, under Hollywood Gossip
You go, pussycat!
Wow, I just found out that Elin Nordegren, the estranged wife of Tiger Woods, took matters into her own hands when she snatched her husband’s cell phone and tricked one of his many mistresses into texting about a future encounter they might have. When Tiger refused to deal with his justifiably angry wife, he popped a sleeping pill — Not a very tiger like thing to do, Tiger! Elin wasn’t letting that sleeping dog lie. She shook him out of his drug-induced sleep and chased him out of the house with a golf club. It’s good to know that she hasn’t been declawed!
Sports Review: Figure Skating
by Zimmerman on Jan.24, 2010, under Sports
If you are planning a trip to Vancouver for the Olympics next month or just sitting in your favorite chair to watch, don’t miss the Ladies Figure Skating! Yesterday I watched both the short and long programs and was spellbound by the glitz and glitter of the finals. The U.S. sends only two ladies to the competition. Rachel Flatt, a high school senior taking four AP classes as she trained, had terrific scores in both categories. The second slot was a different story. Trying to make a comeback was 25 year old Sasha Cohen who had won a silver in 2006. Sorry Sasha. No repeats in 2010. The spot was taken by California native, Mirai Nagasu who wowed the judges with her talent, though she is only fifteen. Don’t forget to watch. If you’re not a skating fan, tune in for the sparkle!!
Lucky Cat Beer
by Cal on Jan.23, 2010, under Food
I’m a cat who likes to eat. I’m also a cat who likes to drink. I’m a huge fan of water, but once in awhile I like to pick up something a little different.
This weekend I picked up a variety pack of Magic Hat. My favorite was the Magic Hat Lucky Kat India Pale Ale. It tasted like warm caramel and brown sugar. Really dark, yet not too heavy. One was enough for me. I read a review from the beerobserver.com, and I don’t really know where they get the part about a fruity aroma, I definitely didn’t smell any citrus in this beer.
Visually, I thought the label was very cute.
I’m looking forward to having a few friends over this weekend to get a second and third opinion on some other Magic Hat selections.
L.A. INK
by Ash on Jan.23, 2010, under TV
Lately I’ve been watching episodes of L.A. Ink on Netflix, and I have to say I’m pretty addicted. I don’t have any tattoos, or know anyone with any tattoos, but I guess you can say I’m fascinated with them because I would NEVER want to mark my fur like that! I just can’t imagine the pain!
Overall, I give L.A. Ink 3 MEOWS. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s worth watching if you feel like curling up in front of the TV for a couple of hours.
Another reason I like Kat Von D, is because of her love of cats. Though her hairless cat is a little freaky. No offense.

The Middle – The Interview
by Ash on Jan.21, 2010, under TV
4 MEOWS – Definetly check out this episode. I would skip a snack for it.
I wasn’t sure about The Middle to start with. I had trouble adapting to it since the two stars came from other shows that I liked. However, this episode won me over. Mike and I now have something in common, neither of us have jobs. However, even though I’m a cat I know how to use the internet, Mike was looking for jobs in the local paper.
During one of Mike’s interviews he was asked to describe himself. He says, “Mike”, “Man” and “Tall”. I thought this was hilarious. I guess my qualities would be “cat”, “fat”, “”short”. Meow.
Lock Watch
by Pepper on Jan.21, 2010, under Tech
If I could tell time and they actually came out it, this would be the watch I would buy. I wonder if you can use an actual key to open it up, that’d be cool.
Treehouse

I may have to move to Oregon and buy this house. Check out this link on gizmodo with the full gallery. I’m partial to the image #8.
